What's your favorite Beer?

I go through stages like you,but beer really puts the weight on me and I work out. Beer is the reason I’m an XXL in IH shirts. Unfortunately it never made my arms any longer. This time of the year is stout season and there’s so much stuff coming out, like you, that I want to try.

Not cheap, but very, very good.
Li'l C-S BA sour!.. W00000 I'd love to try that!.. We get some of the BA series here, so I'll keep an eye out!..
Are you guys casual drinkers or do you have one every day?
At least one, but maximum two beers a day. Then it's wine. And sherry. Or port. Or whatever I have stashed around the house.
- casual alcoholic.

I can go months without drinking anything but these past couple of weeks I’ve been drinking a beer every other night.
This describes me almost perfectly.

I'll check the grocery store- if they still have some, I'd be happy to send you a couple.

Virtually always wear a birthday suit when drinking…..
fixed that for you

I was drinking a wicked weed beer the other night thinking the same thing…
I felt that way when we had dinner in the Wicked Weed brew pub back in November. Principle is great and all, but dammit, the beer is just so good…

Nothing too fancy, but happy to see one of my tried and true favorites offered in cans at my local shop

I’m also curious, especially from those of you in the US, how’s the craft beer selection at your local liquor stores? The selection here is pretty darned good, of course, each store is different. There are a couple I go to that offer a 10% discount if you buy an assortment of individual beers as a 6 pk. It’s a great way to try new brews. But, because there are a gazillion craft beer companies out there it can be difficult tracking certain brands down if they have no distribution.

I don't drink that one anymore, but it was a formative craft beer for me. After a beer drinking career (that started entirely too early
) of things like "Milwaukee's 'Best'," it was a real eye-opener as to what beer can be.
This tap house / record store / lounge in my hometown used to have "Grateful Dead Guy" nights where Dead Guy pitchers were cheap and they would spin Dead tunes. This was the first place to introduce craft beer into my town. Must've been the late nineties.
Great memories… and blank spaces where they should be.
From there I got into hop bombs for many years, then sours, and finally back into craft lagers and pilsners. Still enjoy all of them (and the occasional stout), but the main ones I can't get into are malty varieties such as Scotch ales and the like.
