Catch this denim in the right light and it really shows the fades

Something I wondered, why are these called 634S-B and not 634S-OD? @Alex surely makes more sense to be OD?

This is an old naming convention, were it released now it would be OD, but it is hard to rename something that has been around so long

Was originally 634SB and then renamed to 634S-B. I have a pair labeled 634SB from 2010 I think, maybe 2011

Alright!  I do believe I've found the IH cut for me.  Wanted to like the 888, but the high front rise was really too much for me.  Tried the 777, but the excessively baggy waist needed to fit my thighs was never gonna be sensible.

These feel just fantastic.  Thighs need to stretch a smidgeon at 13.2" for my tag 34, but I suspect they will do that no problem.  Waist fits very comfortably right out the bag, so I'm hoping a sturdy belt will help to keep it from ballooning!  Just a beautiful pair of jeans.  Can't wait to get 'em hemmed and wear the heck out of 'em!

Cheers.  Yeah, they look just a little different from yours!  I'm hoping to pick up a Lefty OD Type III when they drop this month, too.  Assuming I can get a good fit and it works for me and all that, I'm looking forward to seeing how the two change in relation to each other.  Expecting the jacket to start getting bluer well before the jeans.  We'll see.

Shit, they look brilliant @nurunuru I wish I could make the 634 work like that. This denim will stretch without a problem in the first few days of wear so you'll be fine. Pleased for you.

Cheers dude!  Just dropped them off at BlackBlue (St. Paul) this morning to get hemmed.  Feel pretty fortunate to have a store with a Union Special just a few snowy miles away.

With a needle and thread…..It's an easy fix, as the holes are already in the leather.  You will need some strong polycotton thread.

Alternatively, with a razor blade to cut the thread and remove the patch entirely. You won’t be the only one out there who goes patchless if you’d prefer to. They leave virtually no trace. Just a thought.
