I would personally be down for a khaki whipcord type III with a brown cord collar [emoji106]

I think Navy, Khaki, and Black with a brown cord collar would all look great.  I know this has been discussed before but it never hurts to bring it back up periodically.

Agreed. I really dig the green whipcord variant but will opt for a different color if it comes to light.

@Alex and I thought long and hard about doing another colour and decided in the short term, we'll stick with what we have….

How bout a cotton or nylon webbing belt? Heavy brass or steel hardware. Or a cobra buckle. Folks could stud it with Good Art if they wanted.

            Think it, be it.

The comeback of IHSH-08SBG wouldn’t go amiss; this would necessiate a new, somewhat lighter than 21oz SBG denim.

Any chance of something like this happening?

                  I like that…

I've recently started wearing one of my old rigger's belts from when I was in the Army. The belt blends nicely with IH's work wear/biker gear aesthetic.

                  In search of:
                  IHV-04, med.
                  IHSH-185, large
                  IHSH-186, large (khaki, and green)

I've suggested a 1.5" wide fabric belt in the past. It would be cool to use the 21oz denim and wabash fabrics for that. The hardware could be something like the Patagonia Tech Web belt (https://www.patagonia.com/product/tech-web-belt/59193.html) or a metal clasp or even a couple of rings. Bronze would be nice (nicer than brass).

When I look at the IH range, I note that it's missing a denim work coat. I'm not in the market because I have one (at least as far as blue denim is concerned), but it would seem like an obvious possibility.

(I've seen pics online of a IH hickory stripe work coat, but it's a lot less versatile fabric than blue or black denim.)

Is a work coat the same as a chore coat? If so there have been a number of versions previously in assorted denim, blanket lined and in wabash. I think I’d be correct in saying sales have been “mixed” to the degree that @Giles might not be too geared up to repeat the exercise.

Fair enough. I wonder if they sell well with other manufacturers.

There is an indigo work jacket coming up soon however.

                              IHJ-77? Different beast altogether.

                                I thought as much.

If I remember correctly then the initial chore coats did ok, with the wabash being considered a classic by some. You see people searching for them still. But the last slew from three or four years ago were done in navy and khaki chino cloth and a lighter denim. They didn’t do great.

You can find a 21oz blanket lined version in the Extinct gallery.  It’s amazing.

                                  We did one.

It had to be put on sale….

It's pretty nice, but the light(er) weight denim and white stitching could turn off some… Personally, I find that style of chest pocket (right side) completely un-useable, but I realize it's authentic.

Random thought: that chest pocket looks like it was meant to accomodate a pocketwatch, perhaps with the chain end affixed to the buttonhole across from it. Usually IH seems to skip things like that that don't apply broadly in the modern world.

                                        Think it, be it.

IHJ-61 Work Jacket in some duck variant; brown, black, navy, olive. Blanket lined. Add: external zippered horizontal left chest pocket w/ red lining - make it wide and deep enough to be useful for something other than a match book; 2 internal zippered vertical chest pockets, or just 1 on right side so as to not interfere with external pocket. Delete: waist band tab & button, as it's completely superfluous. Keep: corduroy collar; double zipper; button cuffs.
