These are handsome, high-quality, lifetime belts – both the good ol' basic black and the milk-chocolate brown brown, and their solid brass hardware is a big, broad, welcome fit that's nicely spaced between an IH pair of jeans' two front belt loops...
... and guess what else ? Main man @Giles was kind enough to offer to find, and then to bring-in some extra, nickel-plated (garrison) buckles – one of which I've bought and have swapped for the brass hardware of my black Tochigi IHB-06, so as to match the silver of the chain-linkage of the black wallet, and of the black key-fob, that I wear with my jeans. Does anyone know if the "keeper" is attached to the belt or can it be removed. I'm just wondering how this belt would work with the Iron Heart Big Brass Buckle. Maybe the IHB-07 would work better with that buckle? I normally just slide the excess of the belt into a pant loop. I would just buy the IHB-07 and be done with it because ill be using the big brass buckle anyway, but I like the style of the stock buckle with the IHB-06 better, just in case I want to use that one from time to time. It may sound a little confusing but bottom line, is the brass "keeper" removable? thanks.
