IHVB-03CT - Iron Heart/Viberg 8" Smoke Jumper - Reverse-out "Copper Task"

Nice boots. Before my time around here (I think) or else I would've considered these.
Mate, they are great. I copped them 2nd hand and nearly new from tmg and never looked back. I've a pair of Wesco custom Boss on order through Giles, and if they are half as well made as these I'll still be happy.

Swapped out the laces.

These are 8.5 (fit my US9.5D feet perfectly) and are technically for sale because I have some oxfords in a very similar roughout leather, though I am thinking about just keeping them.
Viberg has gone so far towards delicate dress boots and even slippers and sneakers that burly boots like this that came from the Victoria workshop seem to be a dying breed.

I’m ashamed that this thread has not been populated for over two years. These boots are amazing.
Regular wear for over five years, from nearly new. Mountain hikes, winter sports, dog walks, everyday wear, work boots. They’ve seen it all and they’ve even coped with the competition from my beloved Wesco Boss iterations too.
When spring comes they’ll be getting a brush and clean, new laces and kilties but they really look amazing considering the abuse they have received.

@neph93 Dear lord, what’s pair of beauties you have there.
2 years, I say well it was well worth the wait. The images really capture what a special pair of boots these are. It’s unsurprising, by evidence of the character, how we can become attached to objects we respect and show love towards.

Thank you sir.
I think the operative word here is “some” love. They get a brush when they are truly muddy/dusty, but I have only treated the soles to an oiling a couple of times. They are showing some serious dry spots and could definitely have benefitted from a little more TLC over the last few years. The saline solution they use to break down road ice and snow is particularly harsh on leather.
So a whole-hearted but rather negligent love, I’d say [emoji1]

Hi Giles, can you help me identify these boots? I got them new old stock from a local shop and they say it is a viberg, iron heart and wesco (?) collab.

Not Wesco but an old IH/Viberg collab. The same build as the brown pair this thread is for, but blacked out. You’re very lucky to find a new/like new deadstock pair.

Thanks both for the quick reply, but the pictures you guys posted have 9 eyelets, mine have 10. Is this just another version?
