Thank you! I adore them.
Dont you have much experience with crocking? I have a new pair of XHS I'm dying to wear these with but I figure if indigo gets into the rough out it's never coming out again…

Pretty much. Might as well accept it; wabi sabi and all that.

@neph93, same as above. I think the embedded indigo adds to the overall character of these wicked boots.

I'm not averse to appreciating the beauty of the inevitable ageing and gradual deterioration in objects, through time and usage. However, I have to say that splurging brand new indigo all over these boots is a bit closer to the ancient Liverpudlian spiritual discipline "the way of the vandal", also known as "the zen of breaking shit", for my liking. I'm going to have to bite the bullet though as the XHS denim is positively screaming to be worn with these boots.
Thanks guys, have a great weekend

They do look amazing. If I thought mine would come up like that I wouldn't think twice. It's the brand new jeans I'm worried about. If they had a couple of months wear then a bit of indigo=no probs. The amount of bleed off new jeans is what makes me worried about the difference between wabi-sabied and buggered.

Nice boots. Before my time around here (I think) or else I would've considered these.
Mate, they are great. I copped them 2nd hand and nearly new from tmg and never looked back. I've a pair of Wesco custom Boss on order through Giles, and if they are half as well made as these I'll still be happy.

Swapped out the laces.

These are 8.5 (fit my US9.5D feet perfectly) and are technically for sale because I have some oxfords in a very similar roughout leather, though I am thinking about just keeping them.
Viberg has gone so far towards delicate dress boots and even slippers and sneakers that burly boots like this that came from the Victoria workshop seem to be a dying breed.
