I would love it if that Wabash CPO came in something heavier than 12oz!  Is 12oz the heaviest Wabash shirt/jacket that IH has made?

Interesting thought. Has there ever been like a 25oz wabash? I don't recall there having been but what a great fabric for CPOs, chore jackets, and the like. (Or even a classic jean jacket pattern).

The 21oz Wabash was only ever made into the 824. There’s never been a shirt or jacket over 12 in wabash. So far, anyway.

I have the IHV-30’s made out of 21oz wabash and based on those I think a 25oz fabric would be extremely difficult to do anything sensible with. The 21oz wabby is already less flexible than 21oz denim.

The idea of using the 21oz for CPO’s and a simple jacket appeals.

In full transparency, I won't be buying the CPO, but I think the fabric weight should be heavier to differentiate it versus the western wabby.

That's exactly how I feel. I already have the 12oz Western so it's difficult for me to justify buying it again for the side pockets.  Then again I am doing that with the IH-526PJ
