"Lucky" makes it seem too happenstance...
"Blessed" has too much of a religious connotation... This is more about maturity and priorities though. This is about adults being adults, and coming together with common goals and interests to make sure what's important to all of us is taken care of.....Currently, Maddy and I are on vacation in Augusta for a grand total of 23 days to spend time with our kids, family and friends... Do any of you know how GREAT it is to be able to forego staying in a hotel, wasting time and money that are much better spent on and with the kids, by staying in your ex-wife's house?
No, I don't mean that Tiara and Mimi are staying with their friends or something while we are here... The 4 of us are all here! Living, loving, nurturing and setting damn good examples of what life should be for our 4 kids.
I don't know why on Earth this isn't more typical... I just know that I'm EXTREMELY happy to have these ladies in my corner.

^ good work buddy. Me and my ex disagree on loads of stuff and she drives me nuts sometimes but it is always constructive thinking and a united front of warmth and love with the kids, with Ingrid involved as an equal partner.
Like you say, maturity makes the teamwork possible and with teamwork you can do anything. Enjoy.

I must add that today, even more importantly than the up coming hurricane, is remembrance of the 9/11 tragedy. I lost a very good friend that was a Port Authority Police officer that perished at the World Trade Center.

^ That's an interesting story. My friend was a team of 5 that was trying to rescue a non ambulatory women from the North Tower. He was part of a team of 5 trying to rescue a woman from the 29th floor of the North Tower. They were found at the end.

This weekend, Brandi's and my immediate families are coming to town and we are celebrating our union with a wedding ceremony in the Garden of the Gods. Managed to find a sort of natural chapel there among the rock formations.
With all the negativity in the world (including that that I feel and express) I am overdue to express some anti-rant. I desperately love my soulmate and look forward to the rest of our life together.
