Climate is good.  His money is tied up in RSA, so not worth a lot outside South Africa and Greece is relatively cheap…..

Spent some time in Bryce Canyon yesterday. Hoping to get to the north rim of Grand Canyon today.
First time since I can remember no IH gear worn…temp was a bit too hot for any of my gear.

Love the North Rim.  Much less crowded than the South, and prettier, in my opinion.

@ROman - you should get back here, I had forgotten how lovely it is.  Once you reach Athens, the Olympic Airways network is much better now, so our journey here to Paros was relatively simple and not expensive, and when you get here eating, drinking and accommodation is still very reasonable.  We leave tomorrow morning, I hope we can get back for longer next year 

@Madame Buttonfly , your right, my goal for next year is to return to Greece. It probably helps that I speak enough Greek to get by.

@Giles This is Robert. Marble quarries and mines would be interesting to see. Looks like pure crystalline marble. My friend Rich Hughes III did graduate study on rocks in Greece.

The north rim was the most amazing views of the entire trip! I can’t even describe…
