So does this mean you won't be opening up a brick and mortar in LA now?

Did we ever say we would?  If we did, it would have been way down the line.  If Ignition and/or Iron Heart America successful enough, then we will look at opening a physical presence somewhere in The USA.  Kens Factory is not large enough to house a store, so we would not necessarily be tied to LA.  And we are more likley to open what is effectively a fulfilment centre (much like we have here), that a shop and the location of that will be determined mainly by legal and fiscal concerns.

If at some point, it becomes apparent that we need a physical store, then we will do it.

Ah! Makes sense. I think I misunderstood the intent. So is the fulfillment center still going to be at Ken's? Or is that what you're looking to put in Wyoming?

Which almost 100% will mean not California…...

The only logical place would be San Antonio.

                How big is your garage?

Yeah forget San Antonio, there's way too many Texans there.

St. Louis is pretty much right in the middle of the country. Just sayin’. And I have a ton of retail experience.  😉

How about Milwaukee ? Home of Harley-Davidson. Great retail spaces, and a warehouse district within a stone's throw of the Harley Museum. 90 minutes from Chicago/O'Hare. Sounds like a winner to me.  😉

                            About this big

And it will have drywall and a door.

                            Eventually…

I need to set up a bank account in US.  I have a company and an EIN and all that.  I know that I will physically have to visit to actually open the account.  Does anyone know anyone at a bank that would be able to help me?  I wnt to fly in with all the paperwork and data I need, get it sorted and fly back out again.  Location is not particularly important.

It might be worth looking at Stripe Atlas, which is designed to make it easy to set up an online business. But I think that you're too far down the road for it.

Alternatively, Citi are a US bank with a presence in the UK. Maybe have a chat with them to see what they can do.

While researching during my brief stint as an Amazon seller, I found that there are US banks that allow foreigners to open accounts without being physically present… I never delved too deep in to it, because I obviously have a US bank account, but it was interesting to see that it's possible for foreigners to do.
