I vote for the paracord for trail shoes and boots. I actually did a swap on mine and my wife's boots.

@mikebarhoot - paracord all day long. Your Scarpas are inspired by climbing shoes and the paracord reminds me of a climbing rope. A great combination IMO

When I return anything I just take it to the local UPS store and they put all of the paperwork in a sleeve/pouch that they tape to the outside of the package.

I used the Postal service the 1 time I returned something,and there was a  customs form,and there was something I was supposed to say so duty wouldn't be charged,but don't know anything about an invoice.

UPS is the quickest,but USPS is less expensive. Not sure if timing is important. Clerk at local P.O. made sure I filled out everything correctly as well.

saying i am returning goods or sending as a to avoid customs fees for the recipients seems to work out well when i’m sending items abroad

Clear customs. This happened a few weeks back and I had to email ups  copy. Trying to

Go to the UPS office or wait for the driver to turn up. They/he will tell you where to stick it  :)…
