I just purchased the 10oz indigo check selvedge flannel western shirt (item IHSH-193 on the IH site), and was thinking this would be an incredible shirt as a short sleeve?
I know Flat Head makes some similar ones in a short sleeve version, but so I can stay faithful to the brand I like best, I'd really love to see this at IH. Perhaps a 7oz, or something lightweight for summer? The snaps are awesome to layer with a t-shirt underneath.
Anyone else think this is a good idea?

@tfahey00 there is the IHSH-129 that was made a while back that is the predecessor to the 193. Same fabric and pattern just different colorways. I believe SelfEdge and a few other vendors may have some in stock still.

Let me rephrase my suggestion then: I'm eager to see a MOP heavyweight snap when IH finds a good candidate for this.

UHF onesie, with a buttoned trap door
seriously tho, UHF jammy pants would be awesome -
UHF lined 634 or 888 (After spending several days in MN in mid January where it didn't get above 5°F mid-day and dropped below -20° at night, I thought this was a good idea. Usually the CO Rockies in winter have temps that warrant warm pants, but this year it's like winter has never come.)

Regardless of anything else I suspect UHF jammy bottoms would cost upwards of 400USD and the price of UHF lined jeans doesn’t bare thinking about. Given there is only so much Aspero available I think making shirts would be a safer commercial decision.
I’d be ecstatic if we got some 888-XHS. Giles mentioned that H was developing a new version of the UHR too which sounds like it may fit your second question. I’d love some vintage style heavy stuff too.

Self Edge did flannel lined jeans years ago, and I think Kiya mentioned once that they were a nightmare to make. If I remember correctly, they also went on clearance to sell the last few pairs. Neither of those is a good sign for doing that again…

Yeah, I was thinking about the logistics of making them after I saw the suggestion and I could see given the price point, exclusivity of potential customers, and the process of making them how you definitely could run into an issue with moving units.
That being said, I would probably buy a pair (depending on price), but I know I am in the minority on that…

Aside from price point, I fail to see the need or attraction. If it’s that cold then layers are your best bet anyway, so long johns. Technical speaking, wool is much better to have closest to the skin in cold weather than cotton, and why waste all the good flannel on lining legs? Lining of a jacket I could get on board with, but not jeans.
