Who in the US offers boot resoling? I only know of Brian The Bootmaker and B.Nelson. Is there anybody else? I don't need anything resoled now but would like to know what my resoling options are should the time come.

there are a lot of bootmakers/shoe repair shops that do it. i recommend finding one in your area that has good reviews. or you can ship. I had Aram at http://www.ahoneshoes.com/ do modifications to my shell indys and he did a great job. he also does entire shoe refurbishing.

Truth. iMHO unless you are sending to the manufacturer find a place locally of good standing. Unless your making a major mod to the sole/boot.
Local place did my elephant resole and dye.

I have a Zojirushi rice cooker because that's the brand most families use in Japan. Don't think I paid that much for mine but it does in fact make perfect rice. It's called the Micom Fuzzy NS-MYC10/MYC18 made by Zojirushi

Besides having rice a few times a week, we also make rice for the dogs (they have sensitive stomachs)

Zojirushi is a good brand. Don't know if you need one that expensive for your needs but it's your money

I'm getting ready to put a custom Wesco boot order in. I'm getting a pair of black tie domain 6" Morrisons with raptor soles, round toes, extra toe cap, and buckskin lined. What I am wondering is: is the added strap a good idea or do they stay on okay without? Also, please suggest any advice or worthwhile experience you might have regarding a custom Wesco boot order. Thanks.
