I’ve worn through the pocket taping. Bummer.

I've done that with every pair of IH I've ever had, and it doesn't really take that long- it was the first wear to show on my ducks.  A few of my older pairs- my 634s and 634V- don't have taped pockets at all, and I've managed to completely destroy the pockets.  Maybe I have sandpaper knuckles.

Yeah that's nice!  The measurements are damn near perfect for me on a 35 too.

I just picked up a pair myself since they included a size 35 on this last run.  Fit is perfect.

They’re many peoples first non denim IH trousers and with good reason. A nailed on classic.

Apologies, I am sure the answer is somewhere back over these 81 pages, and I have had a good read… but cant find what I need!

I currently have some 555-01 which are a great fit tag 32, but a really 34, now stretched out a touch. I am thinking the 666D would probably work in 34 (real size 33.5), or should I go 35 (real size 34.2).. how much do these stretch with wear? To be honest I intend to wear with a tucked shirt for work, so may be the larger is best?

Also, I will need to hem, I dont think these will look they way I would want double cuffed.... is there much shrink in the inseam with washing?

                                    Best regards,
                                    Chris

I’d go with the W34. They stretch some, although not as much as the denim. I’d say I got nearly an inch out of mine.

You can always ask the crew to see if there is a pair of W34 with slightly larger measurements.

My 666D arrived today, quick turnaround and great hemming from Sam.

The IH crew found a slightly larger cut 34 tag so the waist is closer to 34 than 33.5. The fit is great, a more generous cut than my 555-01 and more suited to the comfortable office wear they are destined for.

I had the leg hemmed to 33, I was cautious as material cannot be put back! I think I could probably have gone to 32 but will see if honeycomb'ing etc draws up any of the length, along with the first wash…. fit shots to follow!

Pleased for you! They are lovely jeans. I also like that «everyone» buys these as smart casual/office wear. They do function well in that respect for a little while… I was also careful with my hemming. Ended up having them taken up again by my local seamstress.

                                            Looking forward to fit pics!
