Nice sharp creases form in the back of the legs, but that is about it. The fabric is lovely. Substantial but not too heavy so can comfortably wear them in the summer.

Previously I used to wear Dockers a lot and the Iron Heart ones shit all over those from a great height.

I have the navy and they definitely are now a staple of my wardrobe.

So how comfy are these really? Any other IH to compare to? I have a pair of the 716 chinos

@Jordonf9 These pants are incredibly comfortable. I have both colors and the newer black chinos and an older tan. They are all comfortable, but I'm particularly fond of these. Mine are too big for me now, but I wear them anyways because they rule. Cut is subjective, but I really like the cut and wish they were extant so I could get tan in a smaller size.

I'll also add that these are very comfortable.

@Giles any chance that a tag size 34 in Khaki is available in Japan….or anywhere?

EDIT: Shit, I meant tag size 33.  Tag size 33 khaki is what I'm looking for.

Thought that might be the case, thanks G.

I already have one pair but I was hoping to get a back up since these will be extinct.  It's funny that we all obsess over our jeans and all the little nuances that we love but the bottoms that I get the most compliments on from complete strangers are the non denim ones lol.  This pair in particular for some odd reason.  I never would have thought.

Oooooo….I'm interested.  Will this be a new khaki fabric or one used previously?

I'm wearing my IH-716 today, and I was thinking while getting dressed "A Chino modeled after the IH-888 would be REALLY nice"… Higher rise, more ample thigh, and a narrow hem.

From a quick comparison of the IH-716 and IH-717 and your description ("Please make profile from thighs to hem a little slimmer than IH-717") it's basically the 716 with a slightly higher rise, and an ever so slightly more slim thigh.

We need "juicy thigh" chinos, Bro! lol

Wouldn't it be easier to use the existing 711 patterns (with an added coin pocket) or did you envision a complete different beast?
