Random Love (anti-rants)

In the very small hours of Christmas day, @Paula's  sisters' fiancé, Johan (some of you will have met him at my Kanreki), died in her arms of a Heart Attack in Marrakech (he was only 61), where earlier in the holiday, he had proposed to her, the wedding announcement was going to be on Paula's birthday on 12th Jan.  Paula being Paula jumped on the first plane she could, and flew out early this morning to help Sara sort the awful mess of dealing with what must be a living nightmare. I can't think of anyone better able to support and help Sara through this trauma.  I'll miss her a lot (I have no idea when she will be back), but know Sara needs her a million times more than I do at the moment.  I love you sweetheart….

I remember meeting and briefly speaking with Johan at your Kanreki and the day after. I’m so sorry for your family Giles, but you are absolutely right that Paula is the perfect person to make an impossibly painful and difficult situation more bearable for your sister. Love to you and your family, and respect to Paula for the incredible lady that she is ️

I had a nice chat with Johan at Kanreki, he was wearing IH jeans and was very proud of them. He seemed the picture of a healthy, energetic gentlemen. Terrible news and my sincere condolences to Paula and her family.

Thanks all, for your kind words about Johan - he was a very dear friend and the love of my sister's life.  She's coping amazingly under the dreadful circumstances.  Huge thanks to Giles and Alex for their great support, I'm very sorry to leave them (and Sam and Adam) in the lurch this week, but I'm so grateful for their understanding and love.
