A rather light beer, compared to neph's… A mere 14%...

    Absolutely brilliant, I might add...

Strolled in to a Restaraunt last night that had the Canadian Breakfast stout on draft. Which was great because I get to cellar my current bottle, and try it now. It was very good. It was served a little too cold I think. And parents here will know that you are on a clock when out to eat  with an 18 month old.  So I had 2. I was impressed. Founders don’t play.

      Maybe so. Maybe not

Even alledged speciality beer bars serve stout too cold. Morons. I need to try some of that CBS though.

On another note, I just drank this earlier, while making porridge for the kids dinner. It’s 15%ABV again. Don’t judge me, I haven’t seen the sun in three weeks… Good stuff.

          Today’s haul w/ @formulapfaff

I thoughts we had a good haul yesterday with some stone, chandeleur and Prairie brews

Sadly not… but I was pretty stoked to get the yellow label version and it lived up to expectations. I also have one bottle each of the Cognac BA and Rhum BA yellow label.

It's a sipper. Really boozy (no shit) and syrupy. Not sure what to think really

Too true. At home I chill it a bit and then let it warm up. The taste really comes out as it warms.

@Appfaff that certainly looks like a decent weekends work [emoji1434]

Today: my first IPA from these guys. Normally stick with their stouts and porters. Funny how despite the different style it is still recognisably de Molen. Sticky, low carb, lots of pine.
