Whoa, Mega, nice glass there. You're into Cantillon? Idk how I never knew that. I'm looking forward to a trio of the Lou Pepe bottles with friends next week to celebrate my buddy's nearly 3000 mile hike that he just completed. My wife and I like Cantillon enough that we flew to Brussels and Copenhagen this summer to visit the brewery and then and attend the Blabaer vintage tasting.

          Pineau D'aunis and 50N4E:

1981 Belle-Vue Gueuze thanks to a very kind friemd. Wasn't even that good at this age, but was super fun to try.

I see some Jester King SPON there, nice! I've still got two bottles of the original release (blends 1 and 4) in my fridge.

Haha. I just deleted the picture because it wasn't a great photo. But, yeah, spon is amazing. I got to try Flor, Methode, cherry raspberry, and peach apricot. I'd really love to try blueberry pitaya. I love blueberries and blueberry beers, so that sounds like a winner.

Haha. It's a shame that some of the best lambics are so hard to get in the US. Seems like a different story in lots of Europe though. It's awesome to see that so many people here drink really fantastic stuff!

Planning to drink one any time soon? I have a good Euro friend who grabbed one for me, so I'm looking forward to eventually trying it. Sounds really tasty, so make sure you post about it when you do pop one. 🙂

i agree. they are a great way to start a day of binge drinking.

                        Maybe so. Maybe not

Hah. I'm definitely a bit more sour focused than anything, I guess, but I do get in my share of dark stuff from Bruery (RS17, HS18), and I built a small stockpile of some other good stuff. I've gotten a bit into juicier IPAs as well recently, so I really enjoyed some of the Forager, Toppling Goliath, and Barrel Theory stuff while in the midwest recently. Basically, good beer is good. 😃

Tonight, my wife and I hung out with my buddy who introduced me to Iron Heart ultra heavies flannels for the first time in awhile. We drank some good stuff. I don't like to pop too many lambics without some age, but I like kriek and a few others like Fou Foune better fresh, so this is a 2017.

Sealed pseudo sue because I forgot to take a pic before recycling the can. Haha.

Haha, literally almost every whiskey we have is High West. We drink beer a lot more, so some of those have been aging awhile. 🙂 Dram is release 2, and I bought it a few years ago when I picked up my wife's engagement ring in Park City, so we ought to save the rest for some time.  One of my buddies works there now, so he's brought us some cool stuff too. I haven't met Dave, but I've chatted about him and High West with some of his Mormon relatives, which was a pretty surprisingly non-awkward conversation. 😃

All they really had to do is put my football (handball) team's logo on it…sold.  Plus it is actually pretty good beer and I like that you get a full pint instead of 12 measly ounces.
