I've seen Julius Rams on SuFu for dear , expensive prices – but still a lot cheaper than retail. Yes, I agree Beats -- that jacket is beautiful. No doubt about it !!!

I've got two deposits for two jackets from Langlitz at present.  Great people to work with and waaaaaaaaaaaay more options than you'd imagine from looking at their site.  Their Japan site is the a lot easier to navigate and you can get some good info off the blog at that site: http://langlitzjapan.com/index.html

I have a goatskin Langlitz Cascade that I ordered here in Japan (so the price wasn't indicative of US prices) and plan to have them make another jacket when I visit Oregon in April. Really top notch quality and service and due to the economy the wait time was quite short.

If you're looking for real Motorcycle jacket that is meant and designed to be worn on a bike and not just in a bar, then it's definately Langlitz or Vanson (or vintage ones like Golden Bear and Cal Leather)

Aero's are best in their own league.

You take a look through any of the Rin Tanaka books (or any other archive for that matter) at vintage leather jackets, and Will & I can recreate yoo one,  No problem.

I got a custom one made for me last year, i love it.
It's a black cowhide Cascade jacket with no collar and black goatskin elbow and shoulder padding and tan double zipper pulls.  It's amazing.
