This isn't a weird alien device, but the Nokia OZO, a virtual reality camera system.
Basically it records 360° video that you can watch in one of those silly-looking headsets. It's an interesting piece of kit, but I'm not sure if I could figure out a use for it.
I saw one at a Festival on the Weekend and asked myself what it is, now in know, thank you

Couldn't stand the new IH patch against my patches from my old riding jacket, so slapped on a little age. Good nuff

Removing a hideous drop down, seeing the cheap/bad work they did, covering up horrible repair work on sheets that we have to replace shortly.

We have been working on our future home and with it comes a lot of old pieces that are interesting. One piece that I am allowed to keep(from the woman's side of the family, supposed to be her great grandfather's) selvedge denim work apron. I am seeing a 2x1 weave, so denim? Chambray is 1x1 I believe.
Nice large size, don't know the weight, might be anywhere from 7-10oz. Does still have the companies name and a tag I can't make out. Want to photograph it with my Canon and sharpen it as much as possible. Happy to find a bit of history I can use. Have to give it a good wash then.

Adorable? Haha. That would be awesome to find one, highly doubtful, but never know. Plan on using it slot in the garage.

Work this weekend
Finishing this now. Been a bit since I saddle stitched. Off in quite a few stitches but meh….only doing cuz it's a leather patch.

Been off the grid for a couple of days. Back to civilisation (or at least a reliable mobile network).
These are from today's hike. Fairly gentle ascent from 400 to about 800m over sea level, to reach a cabin built in 1923 up by a high mountain lake.
My IHxViberg Smokejumpers served me well. Like @tmg said once, they're living the dream.
