Random questions to which you seek an answer

@Giles I think I already know the answer to this but i'll ask anyways. Do you ever get Instagram 'influencers' who ask for free shwag? Do you basically tell them to take a flying f*ck through a rolling donut?
We use "Enchant" (https://www.enchant.com/) for our email management (and love it by the way). Here is the "canned response" that gets used - It's filed under request for freebies….....
_Thanks for your kind note, we are delighted that you follow Iron Heart and love our products.
We receive many requests from individuals - like yourself - who have a fantastic Instagram presence, offering to promote Iron Heart. Unfortunately we cannot provide free or discounted clothing/outfits to everyone who asks. We have lots of loyal, repeat customers who never request a discount, and post pictures on Instagram, our forum and other social media.
I hope you understand, and thanks again for your interest and support._
I was asked by some guy the other day if he could get free stuff and become a "brand ambassador", My response was something along the lines of:
"Why? We already have tens of thousands of brand ambassadors"

Don't let my wife find that link ??? ??? ??? ???
Ha… I have a recurrent nightmare about my wife finding my account history open some day.

@jonesy4885 go to the shop home page >> click at the top on my account >> click on order history and details, voilà

Should get the IH-Cleanwipe service, where your order history is wiped clean after every order, for a nominal donation fee

Hi everyone; 'Random questions…' seems like the most appropriate place to ask this:
On Wesco lace-up boots, what's origin/function of the fanned leather 'tassle' one sees emerging from beneath the laces? Any relation to the similar-looking things one sees on old-fashioned golf shoes?
Actually, while I'm here, one more: has anyone ever had any bad experiences accidentally dyeing bath enamel by soaking your new strides? I've recently purchased a pair of indigo/indigo 666s, but I'm staying with my sister-in-law for a few weeks and desperate though I am to soak 'em and get on my way, I'm equally keen not redecorate her lovely bathtub… I appreciate I could just use a big bucket or something, but to my mind it just doesn't have the same romance…

Then tonight I shall get my soak on – thanks, Giles!
And, yes, I see now – a muddy/gritty grinding paste would be perfect for destroying the tongue – thanks, again.
A most useful thread…
