well just realized my chest is .5" bigger than yours but either way if you normally wear shirts with 20" shoulders then I would recommend trying the XL.

I went and looked at the XL measurements and I think you're absolutely right. I'm an athletic gym going 6'2" 185lbs. Hope I can contact customer service and get my order changed.

Same here, athletic gym going build as well so I would definitely go XL.  Great shirt btw and once you get your sizing down I highly recommend getting the black one as well.

I'm 5'11.5", 195lbs 44" +/- chest, athletic build and I wear a XXL in this shirt. Other IH shirts I wear an XL. I found this model runs small in the shoulders, chest and arms. XL was too tight and constricting across the top, but width at the waist & opening and length were good. It's a trade off for me - the XXL fits good up top but is too wide from waist down to opening. Cuffs are also much smaller than some other shirts. Beautiful shirt! I love the snaps without the front shoulder yokes.

It is my work shirt! My  longest IH garment in the closet and definitely not the most admired!
But I want never live without one….....

Does this shirt run long ? My shoulder 20 and chest 26. I wanted 29.5 or 30" length . Do you think i need xxxl?

One problem I am facing now with IH shirts is that the shirt lengths are long. I am not too tall but upper body is big

Oh, and I think the XL was a good call. I'm 6'0", 175 lbs, and I usually go XL. I should note that I like my shirts a bit loose, so I can layer them…

My IHSH-13 shipped this past Thursday and it arrived this morning (Monday). That's some pretty darn fast shipping!  It fit like a glove. I'm glad I went with the XL instead of the Large. No way it would have fit me in the shoulder area. Maybe I need to tone down my shoulder workouts.  :D. It's a beautiful shirt and built like a tank. I'm so glad I went with the Mother of Pearl snaps. It really does make the shirt.

How do y'all wash your 13 in the States? The tag says that our washers are a bit rough. Thoughts? Tips?

Glad it worked out for you.  I strongly suggest you pick up the black 13 now, awesome shirt as well.

I just hand wash mine in the tub, cold water and hang it to dry.  I haven't thrown mine in the machine yet.

I wash all my shirts inside out on regular cycle, cold.  Tumble dry, high heat.  I don't recall ever having any problems.  Currently, I have the 58, 68, 91, 119, 154 and 165.  I've owned a couple of others over the years and treated them the same.

I might be in the minority on this, but I believe carefully crafted rugged wear should be able to withstand the same routine as the cheaply made shirt I bought off a clearance rack, so I treat them accordingly.

No shrinkage on the Chambray with high heat dryer? I'm going to probably air dry mine when the time comes. I'm already pushing it in the shoulder and Lats area. My "V" taper is a blessing and a curse when it comes to shirts.

I agree with this, in theory, but my experience, especially with denim and duck, is that top loading washers can leave unattractive marks all over the place.

                                  A man after my heart!

I wash and dry my 13's best weekly, along with a few more shirts that are high in the rotation.

I just started machine cleaning my Wabash shirts and denim shirts, as well.

I can't afford much shrinkage on mine hence the cold water hand washing.  Also, I completely agree with @DrBabyhorse regarding the top loading washing machines.

i never trusted the washing machine. ALL my tops are hand washed only and only my bottoms are machines on a quick cycle with varied water temps or spin depending on that it is.

Maybe?  I dyed both of the chambrays, so I paid even less attention to the measurements than I usually do.  I also layer my IH shirts, (cuz Texas is so friggin hot that's all the jacket I usually need) so I don't buy the smallest size possible.  I can measure them when I get home this weekend and compare them to the numbers on the website, if you'd like.

And since I dyed them, which essentially means boiling them for an hour or so, I'm pretty confident that they've shrunk as much as is physically possible…
