IHSH-171-BLU - Blue Dobby Check Cotton Western Shirt

Iron heart for me is the intersection of 2 things: Style (fit/genre) and Materials (ex. type of cotton/vintage mills/construction) Their marriage of art and craft is what warrants the price for me! Cheers…

So, pleased with how this shirt turned out…Insta classic:

@Dishelveled I've gotta say that shirt looks much better in the wild then I thought it would. It was an easy pass for me but now after seeing your fit pics I'm considering it. It looks great on you.
-
I think I would opt to pimp it with MOP snaps though.
-
Was the short sleeve length an issue for you @Dishelveled ?
-
Awesome. I'd love to see this in a single pocket work shirt. White or AL buttons.

We love this shirt but have recognised that some of you don't like the square snaps, so we are relaunching it with round Mother of Pearl snaps. We have also seen some comments about the shortness of the arms, whilst I will concede that they are not the longest armed shirts we make, if I size up to XL, from my normal L, I reckon the fit is pretty spot on. We've also reduced the price to USD285….The webpage will be updated later today...

Looks great
It really does. Although while MOP snaps are my favourite and look great here, I have to admit I really liked the old ones.

I thought the diamond snaps were ok but the MOP snaps really tone it down and bring it together. It's just the sizing doesn't seem to want to work for me. I'd need at least a 25.5" sleeve in an xl but i'm afraid the added length might look blousy on me.

Fitting shirts is a pain in the ring and length is the biggest problem for me. It's put the knockers on a few shirts this summer. I'll say this though, the tapered waist on this (and most other IH westerns) means you can get away with a longer length than usual.
