Has it settled down enough to ask if one of the 40's measures 41 or should i snag the 42 and be done w it?

Hey Mike. Keep in mind that these are just like the regular 25oz denim and they will stretch an inch or so in the waist.

Here's a couple evo shots so you can see how these fade. They fade really fast and you can see in the first pic the back of the denim doesn't fade.
Edit: I should say: most of the warp is showing and the warp doesn't fade.

Yes, that's part of the deal.  And anyway, this denim and the construction of these jeans was so complex that when Haraki saw the costs, and I quote, "My eyes crossed".  We had already estimated a wholesale cost to Pronto, so we probably made a loss on every pair we sold wholesale.  I'm not bitching, because that's part of the gig, but to make this again, we'd have to ramp up the prices a lot - I'm not prepared to do that…

I hot soaked for 3 hours and the length didn't shrink an inch. May shrink after a wash

From what I can see in your photo, showing the cut line which is now fraying . . . if this is what you are asking about then I'd definitely say that this is not normal

It looks like it is just where the denim was not doubled over enough in Unity for both sides to bite on the stitch. Should be a straight forward repair.

@Mustafa911 hey! I think that this may have been my very accidental doing so many apologies for this. I/we would obviously never have sent them out if we had any concerns regarding quality control at the point that these were shipped. So sorry again  We'll get these fixed for you asap.
