What's your favorite Beer?

Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout… Yeah it's 4pm: sue me... I've been up since 5am...

Edit: if you ever encounter it, buy it by the dozens if you like coffee oriented beer. It's simply delicious and rather light at 7.5% abv!..

Most Hitachino Nest beers are well done.  I especially like their White and XH beers.  They also do a special edition salty plum beer, Anbai, that's worth grabbing, if you get the chance.

Easily my favourite brewery. For session drinking nothing beats Hitachino, I love everything they make.

Drank the Funkier Pumpkin last night. It's not a style I'm used to but I enjoyed it. Maybe a little too "nice" for an 8.5%'er but still enough going on to make it interesting as well as pleasant.

That being said it has a pretty deep price point here. It wasn't good enough to see me running out to get more.

Hell yes to stout season… last night:


The Krampus was amazing. Thick and sticky with loads of booze, cocao and chocolate.

Black Creek was altogether different but still pretty good.
