We're off to a good start. The wife (and the dog), approve:
Everybody looks good in these jeans! Enjoy them.

totally agree - great fit @neph93 and everyone else who has rocked these.
I should have jumped on the Tour before it started!

I think it's been generally agreed that after the trips to Germany and Finland then we're going to go again. So they're heading back to the US around Feb/March 2017. Not my call but I can't see why you couldn't get in on the action then…
@spitfiredealer what do you think?
-
Let's keep it going for as long as we can I say! Great fit by the way mate
-
If you would allow any new tour members I would love to give them a whirl.

I vote Adam gets them after @Jii (unless it makes more sense to fit him in elsewhere due to location) then I'd be happy to start it over if the thigh measurements work out…
I'm having flash backs!

As long G doesn't want them back then I'll put you on the list
-
Yep, I'm good to go again if that's happening
-
Awesome! I'm in Alabama, so whenever and wherever that fits. I'll be sure to post an obnoxious amount of pics

The tour jean's first experience of the daily grind started today. Regular Thursday means a bit of teaching, lots of office work then a trip to the gym. My home, work, training centre and Alfred's nursery are all with 25 mins walk of each other so I never use the car. You need to dress for the weather though.
Admiring some vertical fading instead of working:
Leaving the gym all layered up. Cold but dry today.

@neph93 the IHJ-37 + Vest = killer combo. I always dreamed one day I could get the Alpaca Deck Vest to wear over mine.
-
We might want to reconsider the order (when the time comes). I've moved across the country since my leg, and it might save somebody some shipping money if I get them later the second time around.

When we get to the last month of this tour I will do another schedule for a second leg

First weekend with the tour jeans is over. They're the perfect weekend jeans. I work at the local high school and dress code for teachers in Norway is relaxed to say the least. For a boy who came up in Liverpool where suit, shirt and tie is reserved for weddings, funerals and court appearances this is a blessing (What do you call a scouser in a suit? The defendant ;D). Still I reserve my newer denim for work and worn, comfy denim for Saturday and Sunday.
This weekend's project was room painting which is a job I hate. If it doesn't involve sawdust or power tools I'm not happy. So I did the heavy lifting and prepped the room, then looked after Alfred (15 months) while Mrs. Neph did the painting. Winning.
The problem with getting the jeans at this time of year is that outdoor activity with them will be at a minimum. I live about 150km north of the arctic circle which means from early December to early February the sun doesn't make it over the horizon. Seeing as we have a mountain range to the south that effectively means "mørketid" (the dark time) has pretty much arrived. This is the view from my front door at 11am:
At 12.30 pm when the sun was at it's highest:
And at 1.30pm when it has already set behind the horizon:
This is looking westwards at my school at 3pm the same day:
So this is all the sun the tour jeans are going to get:
In other words it's a great time for strong, dark beer. This bad boy came with the jeans and was perfect:
Thanks @Megatron1505 .
