So after the complaints about "ropiness" Jester King let these bottles of Fantome Del Rey sit for a few months.
They just started selling them again so I bought another bottle at the store the other day.
I never had any complaints about the beer in the first place when I tried it fresh, but a few months has done this beer some good.
Luckily I still have another bottle in my fridge. I think it also helps that I had a chance to try some actual Fantome beer since then. This one is quite good.

Finally managed to get some. Grab if you can. For such a widely distributed beer these are really good.

Lagunitas has become my go to brand as of late. Everything I've had is pretty great, especially considering you can find it at the gas station here.
I grabbed the STOOPID ale this weekend it's fantastic as well. Well balanced, nice hop note but not overly bitter. I'll have to try and find the Born Yesterday as I've become a big fan of their IPA range.

Born Yesterday is tasty, had it on tap the other night.
Had this before, but I forgot I had another bottle in my fridge so I finally drank it.
Picked up the Prairie 'Merica four packs (previously only available in a 750ML format).
One of my favorites. Also found that bottle of 2016 Velvet Merkin last night too.

A fantastically balanced farmhouse ale. I like it a lot for a midday ale. Crisp and refreshing and not too funky or spicy

Schlafly 2016 Christmas Ale
A nice, spicy winter warmer. Truth be told, it doesn't feel in season yet but it was just released so I had to nab a draft can.
