General fit question here for guys with a little bit of a beer gut: what's your comfort level with a little bit of pull on the buttons when you're sitting down? None? Some? "As long as you can't bust the button open with your stomach alone"? "As long as the fit when standing looks good"?

With the release of the (really beautiful) 777XHS and the expansion of the 777 line recently, which I assume is at least partially driven by demand, I have to selfishly ask, is the 555 line going to be developed any more or has it peaked?

Jury's out….We may continue to re-release existing versions, but to a great extent that will be driven by retailer demand and not me.  I think it unlikely that we'll develop new versions.  Though, that is not 100% decided....

Some people have claimed to gave gotten 2" but from personal experience the 25oz doesn't stretch as easily as the 21oz denim. I got the standard one inch on mine and that took time. So I'd say 2" is a big ask. You'd also have to be prepared for some serious discomfort to wear the 25oz two inches too small.

My size 33 634xhs are a size or two down from most of my other pairs. After two months of pretty regular wear, I only got a little over an inch of stretch. And they are straining at the waist, still. I will be breaking them out again in the next few weeks, and we'll see how much more stretch I get out of a full fall/winter season of wear.

Hey everyone. Had a dry job done wrong due to a rain storm and now have the rankest smell on my jeans. I've washed them again and now they are properly drying outside. Has anyone used color safe bleach and gotten decent results for smell removal. I've also heard of vinegar in the wash too.  Any input is appreciated.

I wouldn't trust color safe bleach simply because it's still caustic and will damage cotton fibers. Vinegar won't hurt at all, but is known to set dyes. My suggestion would be to turn inside out, making sure the waistband is even, and hang in the sun and fresh air

I am looking for a belt to pair with my Alden brown chromexel shoes (the ones that look pretty and red). Does anybody have a suggestion for a good belt that is similar in color? Possibly the IHB-01 in wine?
