How does it compare with the 18oz?

Any idea about how it might fade?

It looks like it was cut like a normal 634… Which means it won't fit like a 634 after shrink, I think.

It's turned out a little slimmer than a traditional 634, but when they shrink, they'll just be a smaller version.  Washing does not change the cut….

I usually do wash them first, but when I tried them on and the buttons worked so easy, I just kept them on, since I wasn't near a washer.I'll probably do a post wash pic fairly soon, while returning from Berlin, between Philadelphia and Charlotte, a kid sitting next to me spilled a cup of water all over them. Glad it was just water. I made me jump. Thanks for the comments.

Great fit @ROman ! Also good to know I'm not the only one who buys more than one of the same thing…. 😶

Just got mine in, warm soak with Bronners, and now waiting to dry. The thighs feel a little smaller than the 5th anniversary 634SR, closer to how my 666UHR feel, but we'll see as soon as I get some wear in them!

I like that you are offering a lighter denim in loomstate. But 13.2 in the thigh (in sz 34) won't fit me after a shrink. Any chance you will offer another loomstate 634 that will keep similar thigh ratios as the 634S (ideally w/o the tonal stitching)? I love 634s and my XHS but I'm ready for a lighter denim as I live in Florida now and wear my denim year round.

Wore these yesterday and I really like them.  I got a little leg twist, but I'm actually a fan of it.

I'll get a couple of pictures up this weekend.

Thanks Giles! How high is the contrast fading on them? Higher than XHS? As high as PBJ? Are the any pics out there?

I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone with some insight into those denims. Sorry for posting the question in this thread but I was already here so..

Giles currently has the most faded pair of jeans in the 14oz denim, he's posted pics in either the 666S-14 thread or the regular 14oz denim thread. I can tell you from personal experience that the 14oz denim is awesome, but it's sanforized, not loomstate. Wonderful denim though.
