the slaughter of children in Connecticut didn't stop it neither will this latest massacre. Appalling.

I'm starting to believe that even if this happened every single fucking day, nothing would happen. It's just that people kill people, can't do anything about that!

Well, depending on how you define a mass shooting, it's happened about every two days so far this year. If we include suicides and non-mass shooting homicides, the average is more like several per day.
It did answer the question though.
