            Longer sleeves are great when you ride a bike/bicycle, but it takes away a lot from the look imo. A little shorter almost always looks better than longer sleeves.

              Personally, I purchase the shirts/jeans because of the particular emphasis on motorcycle appropriate clothes, and not so much for the fashion appeal. I believe that was the intention of the brand, but I can be wrong.

                  @Giles:

                  Size up, give is a very, very hot wash.  Problem solved….

                  Hiya Giles, I really appreciate advice like this, I am broad shouldered shorter fella who prefers Large or XL but the length sometimes gets me. The work shirt Large works for me, but I may give it to my brother (who is a bit taller and slimmer) and pick up a western in XL. If the XL post hot hot wash will shorten it I may go for it. I know it's a very vague science or art even… But hie much shrink can I expect length and width?? Thanks!

                    I've never done it.  I just know others have.

                      I have washed UHF's at 90°C (on your own risk)

                      Depending if you go for a straight wash at 90°C or if you go through a step by step of 40°C / 60°C / 90°C  washes shrinkage varies a bit.

                      But you can get up to 1.5" in length, 0.8"-1.2" arm and 0.5"-1" width shrinkage…

                        Yes, that's roughly my experience as well.

                                thanks Rocket please tell me: does the hot wash change the color or the "feel"/"hand" of the fabric?? Does it get fuzzy or pilly in any way?? Thanks!!

                                  I washed / wore a lot of UHFs over the years. They get a bit grainy with frequent wear and washing but can bear a hot wash. I don't think that the temperature has much to do with it though. You can browse the 101TG thread - I posted some before and after pics of my shrinking project.

                                    One of the most amazing characteristics of Aspero is its resilience under harsh conditions and after repeated washing.
