IHSH-131-BB - Ultra Heavy Flannel Blue/Black Buffalo Check Work Shirt

i have the blue/black ombre work shirt so i don't really feel a need for this one. just hope the sleeve length isn't a sign of things to come for the rest of the UHFs this year. the 126 fits perfectly and the 131 has virtually the same measurements except the sleeves are over an inch longer. ???

:oI'd forgotten that this was happening. I'm wearing my 126 right now and the sleeve length is perfect on it. Changing this kind of thing must be a hard decision to make and one based on percentages. Personally I'll have to think twice about ordering something with an extra inch on the sleeve. I flip the cuffs on denim and wabash shirts, but chambray and flannels I like to be able to button up.
At the end of the day, it might be a good thing. I'll probably only pick up those UHF with c/w's and patterns that "I must have". The return of the purple people eater being a case in point.

I completely agree. Wrote this earlier this year, overlong sleeves are not necessary IMO (and I have rather long arms).

It's strange to me that people are not happy with the sleeves being "longer" when actually most IH shirts have historically had longer sleeves. The ones that came up with shorter sleeves (127 for example) were the oddballs and not the norm in my opinion.

First it was David Bowie, then Prince… and now I read the news that all Iron Heart shirts in 2016 will have super duper long sleeves??

There's the silver lining mate. We can use the money we save on shirts to buy some of that ox-blood cordovan hotness instead.
Otherwise it seems to me the right way to go would be to shorten ALL other IH sleeves in line with last years UHF. Make it so. [emoji38]

Yes, back on track. This is a warm warm welcome to the cookie monster, I'm still hoping that somehow the western version will be more my size.

The same here: sleeves are too long and doesn't work for me (can also be seen very well on the pictures with model Patrick). You don't get better quality or style than IH(UHF), but this new measurements sucks…
I lost today, but it doesn't mean I have to like it;-)
