Update - here's my IHJ-39 with the white wolf ruff that I'm going with.  This is top ruff on the left side of the pic.  Originally I wanted the black wolf ruff bottom ruff of the four, but with the long black guard hairs it was (more) massive on the coat. It is almost comically high with the hood up.  The first prototype used some small magnets and the vendor has ordered larger magnets for the final product.  I'll keep in mind Sabergirl's alert about magnet sensitivities when the coat gets into my hands.

Finn666, no crazy mods for this.  With the magnet attachments, there is no alterations to the jacket itself.

I just received a pic of the wolverine ruffs she has available.  She and I picked #2, which is the most traditional pattern.

I have been wearing this all day in a pretty cold post-snowstorm New York, with one of those IH-somethingthatsahoody things underneath.  My god seriously warm combo.  This jacket is indeed a total beast.

IHJ-39 with the Wolverine ruff (on a no shouldered child mannequin)

After she gets a Canadian fur export permit today, the jacket is finally being shipped back to me.  I'm thinking a couple weeks before I get it.

My parka finally arrived from Canada this morning with the wolverine and white arctic wolf fur ruffs.  Both can attach to any hood via five opposing sets of magnets, so there is no modification/alteration to the IHJ-39.
