My XXL arrived today. Super fast I might add. Here are a few fit picks. I just had a tshirt underneath. I don't plan on soaking it so it may work, but I would appreciate any thoughts from you guys. I'll ask the wife too, but just to humour her.

Looks good. Not too short or long and u can button which is always a nice thing. Shoulders & sleeves look perfect

haha ya it did eventually button up. I had a tough time even unbuttoning it out of the blue bag! Thanks @madmonday I agree with you on length of body and sleeves. Its a little tight in the chest, but I think if I sized up then the other measurements may get too big. consensus seems like it doesnt stretch, but i think if it stretched just a little in the chest it would be perfect.

I think it looks great and it does stretch a wee bit to me. I think you made the correct choice now where the shit out of it!!!!! Oh yea and I had calluses on my thumb from trying to button it haha

Thanks for the help you guys. I just tried it on again and I'm thinking now that I may have to size up. I can barely bend over when its buttoned up. Plus im not sure I should be breaking into a sweat when trying to get it on!

Oh man! I had heard rumblings of March…However, it is what it is, I had this bad boy in a XXL and realized I needed to size up to a XXXL so I have been patiently waiting till then.
Well, if its September then I will wait till then. This jacket is what I have been waiting for given my height and arm length and having felt the construction of it in XXL, I am just happy there will be a restock at all
Thanks for making such amazing pieces fellas...and reminding us Americans that patience is a virtue we have forgotten

I couldn't agree more Dstauffer. I went with the XXL because there wasn't a XXXL in stock. It fits great unbuttoned with a tshirt underneath. I'll be tempted to get a second in XXXL when it's available. Best denim jacket I have ever owned or that anyone could own as far as I'm concerned

I own a few pairs of IH jeans, and they are by far the best denim I have ever worn. Honestly, I cleared out pretty much all of my other jeans after getting into my first pair of IHs
However, I was a little apprehensive about a denim jacket that cost more than the jeans I loved so much. But given the extra length in the body and sleeves for this particular model, I figured I had to at least give it a try. My feelings upon trying the jacket on were the same as yours: "Best denim jacket I have ever owned or that anyone could own as far as I'm concerned"
It was tough to send it back, but given my size I knew an XXL would not be the jacket for me in the long run given the potential issues with any shrinkage. I almost kept the XXL to just tide me over till the XXXLs were restocked
Sorry to go on and on, but I love this jacket and am so excited IH is making it (and restocking it, even if its looking like it will be 9 months out)…I suppose I'll just keep checking my inbox and the website everyday with my fingers crossed in the hopes that it may restock early
In the mean time, any pics of you all with your 526L jackets are welcome to help tide me over till I can order one of my own
