Looks great! Did you just make it slimmer?

          Fantastic fit @Haddtoo 555  !

I have been considering to let IH shirts being made slimmer (waist & opening) as well but in the end of the day I  didn't want to mess up the cut. Plus I don't have a trusted tailor available. But after seeing that it's possible maybe I should take the risk…

It's been slimmed starting a couple inches above the arm opening. The felled seam remains but not chainstich, the opening gusset has been removed. It now has more value to me and the brand then it would on a hanger in the closet. I liked it enough I had to give a go. A trusted tailor is a must!

Here's the finished product. Side seams ripped into arm opening, the gusset was removed at the second go around (what can I say… I'm fussy) it ended looking a bit bell shaped removing the gusset and pulling the seam together made the difference. I'm sure the job would have turned out better if she didn't have to go back into her work and redo it but all in all it was a learning experience and I'm happy with it, darts were not an option with a pattern, she did not suggest them, she listened to what I wanted..A good thing ! I found a competent Seamstress but she's trying to make a living and if I was as fussy as I used to be when I was younger I still wouldn't be happy....Sean thanks for kind words...I'm up in the Bay Area...

My first IH work shirt. Feeling pretty good about the fit. Maybe a tad short in the arms? But this wabash…and those buttons....I'm in love. Pardon the crap pic.

My 68 is a size small. I bought it used, but I'm pretty sure it had never been washed.

Thanks!! I've got to get some updated pics, it's starting to show a little evo at the cuffs and collar. I love this shirt.

Just picked one of these up during the 12% off sale.  Really looking forward to receiving it.  I've never owned anything in Wabash and this looks like a great shirt.

Put mine on today for the first time! I'm a little sceptical as to the fit on me but I think that's a result of the stiffness of the fabric. These have to be broken in, right?

In the meantime, the construction and dots are sho shexy:

It def is a stiff fabric, post up some fit pics if you can.  I am sure you'll be fine though!

Here's a quick, nasty one. I don't think it's too small, the chest and shoulders seem fine. It's more the way it drapes/hangs, seems wiiiide even for a workshirt. I think I just need to wear the fekker.

I think its a great fit, i don't think you could go up a size (Arms would be too long in my opinion).  I think it looks fine in the body.  I have the western and it fits a little wide in the body but, of the IH shirts I have, they all seem to run a little wider than some of my non IH shirts.  It'll be fine with more wear too, once it molds to your body and breaks in.  Enjoy, I have had plenty of compliments in mine 🙂

Edit: I forget to add, perhaps you could hot soak it if you'd like to get a little more shrinkage out of it?
