Speaking of Allagash, anyone tried their sour red/brown Broken Elevator? Pretty good on draft for damn sure, after it warmed a bit in particular it was among the finest at a sour festival with some big time beers. I think it was a collab from a few taphouses including Colorado's excellent Falling Rock.

The next day we went to Pizza Paradiso in Alexandria where I had Oude Tart from The Bruery on tap…
Oh hell, I would nuke my kidneys on that. Oude Tart is fantastic, and I grab multiple bottles whenever I get the chance.
I'd really love for The Bruery to distribute to Texas. They're by far one of my favorite brewers. -

Looks good. Where did you get it?
-
My brother got it as part of a trade. It tastes EXACTLY like root beer, with a little alcohol kick at the end.

5.9%, so a little on the light side.

Great.
Grand.

Had this Señorita from Elevation last night, a lot better than it might sound.
I had one a couple years back as well and this time around it wasn't nearly as cinnamon-intense, and more smokey. Which is an improvement, as it ended up tasting more like a beer and less like dessert.
Also I'm just a sucker for horchata.
