How are these bad boys evolving? Share the love.

Edit: Damn, confused it with my Duck Typ III.

@DrBabyhorse Evo? I'll try… I bought my jacket in March 2012 and wore it a lot for the first 16 months. Then I moved to a hot climate and it gets the odd day out from time to time. The cord has become really soft and shaped to my frame. I totally love how the buttons have turned the surrounding material rust-coloured and you can see the same copper shade on the elbow on the left sleeve. So much depth in the fabric that is really hard to capture with a phone cam… Never washed this one btw.

Well shit….now I want one.

Thanks for sharing. That looks awesome SM. I'm still hoping to get my hands on one some day.

Pleasure. This is my favourite piece from IH and would recommend it to anyone - well worth hunting down. I always think it has a bit of a Neil Young 1970s vibe to it!

@Sugar Mountain your images are pretty awesome. The Olive colorway is great. What's that red sploosh on the elbow? here's the khaki in action
-
@madmonday Just caught your post… The red mark on the elbow I think is a discolouration of the fabric from wear rather than a mark caused by anything external. No idea how it happened though.

I couldn't resist picking this up, but I'm gutted that it's too small. I think I could make the shoulders and pits work, and even the sleeve length is all right, but the body is just too short. Type IIIs and I don't get along. Thoughts on these crappy mirror-selfies? This jacket is so beautiful! I really want to keep it. This jacket is so beautiful! Thanks! Now that I've been wearing it a little while, I don't think I need much encouragement. Although I will have to get used to the shortness of it. The jacket is soo nice. Now I see what everyone was talking about with this corduroy fabric, dang. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
