I couldn't resist picking this up, but I'm gutted that it's too small. I think I could make the shoulders and pits work, and even the sleeve length is all right, but the body is just too short. Type IIIs and I don't get along. Thoughts on these crappy mirror-selfies?This jacket is so beautiful! I really want to keep it.

Yo Sabergirl. That's an absolute perfect fit. And you got (I think) the olive one. That's how type III's are supposed to look.  My vote is to keep it.

Thanks! Now that I've been wearing it a little while, I don't think I need much encouragement. Although I will have to get used to the shortness of it. The jacket is soo nice. Now I see what everyone was talking about with this corduroy fabric, dang.

@sabergirl looks good. The IH modified type III like the lefty trucker is a little longer in the body, just for future reference if you want to try a longer bodied type III.
