IHJ-30 - Cotton Duck/Ripstop Reversable M43 Liner
-
Any pics old boy?
None yet. Maybe this weekend.
Overall, I'm really impressed with this thing. Although, I won't really be able to wear this as a liner. The sleeves are very wide where they meet the shoulders. I can fit it under an XL IHM-08 M65 but the armpit area ends up being very bulky. It fits under an XXL IHM-01 Deck jacket as well, but same issue. And forget wearing a heavy flannel, liner and another jacket. I tried it and I felt like the little brother in A Christmas Story.
Basically, it's too beastly in the sleeves for a liner. It's a solid standalone outerwear piece however.

…. And so @Winchy did!
The two sides of this garment are, in fact, very different. The duck side appears more rigid and "bulky", seems to need some wearing before reaching the optimum fit. The Primaloft side, however, appears softer, so that the jacket even seems better shaped. Ultimately, this jacket is lighter and more comfortable than it looks (because it is, in fact, very, very confortable!!).
Love it! Thanks, IH Gosport, you are always the best!
