Damn, this is kinda like waiting on boots!  Well, kinda like…

Hopefully March will be getting warm or some warm days at least, when you take delivery.

        Sounds good Giles.

Now you need to get yourself licensed. 🙂

I have Yamaha coming to Goport to make a Video later on in the year.  Haraki on the XJR1300 and me on my SR, there is no way I'm going to be in that video with "L" plates stuck to the bike.  I'm not sure any of the film crew would be able to stop laughing…... 😉 😉 😉 😉

you need L plates in the uk even though you have a full license for a car?

@Giles you'd be restricted to 125cc on a CBT, so riding the SR500 without a full license wouldn't be legal.

I'd look at getting going with it sooner. You need a full day for the CBT, if you don't have one yet, but the rest of the lessons can be fit in as and when.

Of course, I'm always available as a stand-in for riding at an unreasonable fee. 😛

The guys wanted to deliver it too me on Easter Sunday.  But we will be out of the country on business (more on that any minute), so I may wish to take you up on that, but how the heck do you get back there, from here?

That's an awesome build @Giles ! I really like the colour of it! I am looking for a smaller bike like that for my next project! I had been thinking of a HD sportster, but you opened my eyes to another idea. Thanks

but a cool SR for a reasonable price - makes sense and fun.
