Not trying to start drama or be disrespectful but I am curious.

I along with others have started out with cheaper Selvedge brands and found about higher end brands, Iron Heart, Roy etc from that start. I have seen @4c spreading the word and saying great things about Iron Heart on other forums myself.

Seems unfair for some to be hostile against a brand that does obviously have some fans.
There are many other brands talked about on here.

I know many who started with a Gustin purchase and now are buying Iron Heart and others as part of the journey. Can't all the brands get along.

I think it's just that almost no one here seems to be interested in gustin. I get your observation of moving on to iron heart etc from cheaper brands, but that would really justify an iron heart thread on a gustin forum, not the other way around.

People here are ok with paying iron heart prices, and the only good thing about gustin is that it's cheap. If you're not too concerned with cheap, then gustin likely won't appeal to you, as displayed by the dearth of activity in this thread (other than by 4c).

I don't see the harm in this thread. I just kind of ignored it, but who knows if others might have been enjoying it. Kind of feel bad for our man 4c on this one.

I also pretty much ignored this thread because I'm not a fan of the brand or their model, but I hope this doesn't discourage you from freely posting, 4c. I always enjoy your posts and reviews. Keep being yourself, man.

I don't mind the thread particularly (or any other- because it actually works in Iron Hearts favour with the search engines), I just get slightly irritated when it is used as a "wow, look here, there's another great piece been released' continually by the same person. Honestly if you rate another brand that much, go play on another forum …

@Megatron1505 So you don't like Gustin because of their approach to marketing? I would just figure you weren't a fan because nothing caught your eye. As far as the people that support the brand being a$$ holes plenty of folks say the same thing about what once was the "iron heart army"

I'm not getting at anything. I'm asking a question about your feelings on Gustin. I've been turned off brands because of the people around the brand on several occasions.

But more often than not its cause the product isn't my style

I actually agree with you G M B sorry for the spaces my phone keeps changing your handle to GET variety is a good thing to me. 4c has a hard on for Gustin I have a hard on for Russell & u see that thread
