Just heard the FIFA disciplinary committee is considering an investigation against Krul because of his behavior. They only wait til the "official ref report" is in…wonder how long such things take at the WC?

Those of us who found him objectionable do not seem so very far off then after all!

What FIFA decides to pursue and to not pursue is ridiculous. Suarez ONLY gets a four month ban for the third time he bites another player and Zuniga gets NOTHING for breaking Neymar's back with his knee??? Come on!!

Was Tim Krul being a professional by mouthing off? No.

Should a professional be bothered by what comes out of a goalies mouth? No. The sole focus should be on making the ball meet the back of the net. If they can ignore tens of thousands of the oppositions fans screaming and making gestures, the goalie should make little difference.

My head says Germany but my heart says Brazil (but only so I can avoid the wife getting too upset). After the amazing group stage it'll just be nice to have a real barn stormer to bring the KO rounds a bit of the same excitement.
