The 2014 FIFA World Cup

Did get to try ice hockey couple times, was sweating putting the padding on and
the puck was like chasing a bullet after being used to football speed . -
Best shirts in the tournament
- Australia - Classic green and gold with a collar and solid 'v' insert (very 70s)
- USA - red shirt with white and blue detailing, nice and simple and the colours look great, very bold, simple and childlike
I would never buy anything by Nike but their kit designs are much less garish than adidas.
-
I really like the Argentina home kit, Japan's kit is pretty nice too.
-
IMO Japan's kit is pretty bad. Hot pink accents? Neon green? Nasty.
To me, the stand kits are France, Australia, USA,
Here's how GQ ranked all 32 jerseys.

Much like the discussion about the jerseys I seem to have started, plus of course that my liking the French ones seems to be shared by so many, while naturally tastes differ. Astonishingly many media have ranked/rated them as well, I've seen three different ones alone here in Germany, with very differing results, too.
But perhaps back to the game, Italy-Uruguay is the next thriller for me. So far the Latin American teams have shown very strong, if this holds here, we're in for the next big exit after Spain and England.

Absolute pwnage of FIFA
-
I would normally watch England whenever they play, but Italy v Uruguay should be great.
-
It's do or die too, definitely the one to watch
-
Did he just bite him? WTF?
-
Looks like it, he certainly has an appetite for the game (and more)!
-
Did he just bite him? WTF?
Almost choked on my chicory salad when that happened… Too good... And safe trip home, ragazzi... ::)
-
The Italians being arch enemies of us Germans in soccer, I should be glad about their elimination. However, they were wronged in this game. The red card against them was a stark exaggeration, and that hearty bite deserved nothing else but being sent off.
Oh well, Italy and England being the two from group D who have to leave now, that's nothing short of sensational.
It's the Latino teams who prevail, and it may well go this way in other groups and in the knock-out stage as well. -
Suarez has earned himself a lifelong ban at this point
-
Life-long I don't know, but if FIFA know what they're doing, they'll keep him away from the remaining tournament.
-
I hate this player. He is a great striker, but the rest of him is just awful. Unsportsmanlike behavior, diving, cheating, whining. Why is he allowed to rot this game?
-
If he isn't banned for the rest of the tournament there is something wrong at FIFA (well, more wrong than the obvious).
Torn by the Japan Vs Colombia game, I have money on Colombia but I always support Japan.
-
Can we please drop a f#cking nuke on Greece already!
