My 1955s lost about 1.5" in the leg. I suspect that there might be a bit more to come, and Giles's 2" off the leg would sound about right.

If you're worried about inseam @pillowPANTS then be aware there is some variation in them. The 1955s are supposed to be 36.5", but mine were something like 37.2". Yes, I did measure the entire stack to find the longest pair!

The waist shrank a little, but has since stretched out just under an inch from raw. It started off at 34" (size 33 1955), and currently measures nearly 35".

Is the color much lighter than the regular 21oz denim?  The pictures make it look royal blue compared to the midnight blackish blue of the regular 210z denim.

I have the 555-01's.  In person what is the difference visually in terms of the denim.

I also want to say as a 6' 3" 195lb cyclist who normally wears a 36 in all Iron Heart denim the measurements look great.  It's great to see the thigh's at 13.0 and the leg opening under 9.0.  I feel leg openings in the 8.25 to 8.75 range is the sweet spot for a size 36.

Keep the new options coming all the new stuff lately has been great.

These look so amazing. I was planning on instacopping them but now that Florida's summer weather has kicked in I don't think I could do it. I wore 19 oz Samurai 710s year round with not much issue but I guess IH uses a tighter weave because my SExIH633 are absolutely brutal at 20 oz pre soak. I'll probably end up caving and getting a pair anyway though if a second run is made.
