Mine was the same size up top but I gave it more taper from the armpit to the waist….

thanks girl. when the jacket is closed though, it's a bit bulky in the back and under the armpits. also the opening is a tiny bit wide when zipped up (guess that's what G. improved on the 2nd sample)…
for now though, i'm a happy little pig (as seul would say!)
