Been looking at this jacket for a while and can sense the inevitability of buying it creeping in. Can anyone comment on the diff between the 526L and the SEXIH22TYPEIII? I would assume this is the identical jacket except for a diff in fabric, and that the diff in size measurements is a function of differences in measuring methods?
ie. The 526L size 38 shoulders list at 18", whereas the SEXIH22TYPEIII size 38 is listed at 16.6".
As far as sizing goes, how much would you expect the fabric to stretch out after a bit of wear?

That is not a safe assumption. Kiya specs what he wants, I spec what I want. They are not the same jacket. I actually do not (normally) even see the Self Edge samples and if I do, I do not measure them.

Giles , I presume (feel free to expose me as a halfwit ) there is a sound reason , why SE
doesn't list IH products by their numbers (IHSH-92 example ) ?Cheers

Cool thanks Giles, sorry I meant that they are similar in both being a type 3 and longer, versus being completely identical. I'd be interested to know how they differ but happy to do a bit more homework
As far as the amount of stretch on this, would anyone have a suggestion on weather to go down or up if you're between sizes? Thanks again guys.

I have an XL waiting for me , when I go back to Vancouver - too hot to wear
most of my IH gear here now.Reckon black coloured garments underneath till it stops bleeding .

Ppants XXXL bloody hell your a tall bloke , that beard alone must give your neck muscles a work out ! I got the XL since the L will be tricky to wear an 86,72 or 70 shirt underneath.
Will find out if I was right in a few months .Keep it surreal
