I lived in LA and never saw anything special about In N Out (but I liked "Oki Dog" :)). Fast food is an acquired taste - sometimes its what you eat growing up - i.e. I like White Castles once in awhile, but they are arguably gross. And Skyline chili (Cincinnati style fast food chile over spaghetti or chili dogs) is nothing special but if you eat a few times it grows on you in a big way.

I had a poutines dish that used a Cincinnati style chili in lieu of gravy and it was fantastic.

I just got given the most amazing present, I really can't believe it. A beautiful blanket/quilt from the IH Forum, made in Hachioji. I am overwhelmed, it's a wonderful thing and I am totally delighted but I can't stop crying! I will find out more about how this fantastic and beautiful gift came about, and will try to say thank you properly.
We'll take some photos later when I've stopped weeping!

The Blanket is wonderful. I feel totally humbled, marvelling at the amount of effort that has gone into making this happen. And it was totally worth it, because it is The Best Blanket in the Whole Wide World and I am completely thrilled and overwhelmed. Here are some photos that Giles took earlier of some of the detail. We'll take some more photos this evening to show how magnificent The Blanket is in its entirety. I have managed to stop blubbing, but I know when I speak to my Mum later and tell her about it the tears will start flowing again.
I realise I have very many of you to thank, and some of you most especially, for doing this absolutely lovely thing for me. I will get around to that eventually when I have recovered my composure xxxxxxxx
