cro-mags are coming to town and my local club/concert venue is trying out a new concept on thursdays, in collaboration with the local punk and hardcore scene. should be interesting! usually dont listen much to hardcore, but i really enjoy the shows!
Cro Mags shows are always cool!!! Many subcultures (HC-Kids, metalheads, skinheads, rastafaris…) squeezed into one crowd, stagedives, mosh singalongs. The Mags always play the same set-list (including some Bad Brains songs), but damn, all the songs are instant classics!!! I gonna see several times in April/ May, some dates with Judge.

Pretty cool imagery and vantage point, with LCDs all my friends for a soundtrack. As a random fact, the next morning this contraption crashed on takeoff during a sunrise flight with me in the passenger seat. I now dislike takeoffs in any plane.

Assuming y'all saw the doc he made about their final concert?
I caught them opening or Arcade Fire years ago. I like AF fine, loved them at the time, but never as much as LCDSS. And LCDSS blew them off the stage. Great tour.
Only got to see them one more time, but they didn't split a bill that time. So damn good. I really miss them, but I'm grateful that all of the output was of such splendid quality.

Gonna get to see some music from back home tonight, an 81 year old Mississippi bluesman named Leo Welch in a venue that reminds me of Mississippi juke joints, a complete shit hole called Palmer's Bar. I am damn excited.
