Has anyone tried one of these yet? 18 oz, tight weave, 10 year guarantee. Wondering how it stacks up to others mentioned here. http://www.flintandtinderusa.com/mens-shop/hoodie

Well, I just got my first really nice sweatshirt (IHSW-10)… so now that I know how wonderful sweatshirts can be I’m wondering what else is out there…

Basically what I am looking for is very thick fluffy sweatshirts that would be about as soft or softer than my IHSW-10.

          Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Strike Gold makes a killer fleece. It's a bit different than IH, a bit more rigid but extremely heavy and soft.

            Think it, be it.

                Thanks guys!
I’ve been looking at these brands and I defiantly see these sweatshirts in my future…

I have also recently found a sweatshirt that looks pretty nice it’s called Joe McCoy (related to real mccoy?). There is new sweat in my size at a pretty good savings ($165) I’m looking at… The seller who is also selling a couple of strike gold sweats says: “I owned and have owned every brand of loop wheeled sweatshirts, buzz rickson, strike gold, dubbleworks, deluxe ware, cushman, whitesville, two moons, samurai, full count, Phigvel, beams Plus, etc…etc.. None of the above compare in terms of weight, feel, construction, of the Joe Mccoy Ballpark sweatshirt.”

Not sure how good this one really is so I just thought I’d ask you good folks. Ever heard of Joe McCoy 12oz Ballpark sweatshirt?

Joe mccoy ballpark belongs to the real mccoy's. Look over in the real mccoys thread. Very nice heavyweight fabric, deadstock talon zipper on the hoodie etc. quality and attention to details are outstanding.

Some fit pics here from maxpower and myself

Flash also wears his ballpark hoodie in the waywt thread in other brands

The Ballpark heavyweight crewneck Sweatshirt itself is great too look over in the RMC thread you'll see some pics there too.

My top two that I own are Real McCoys and Strike Gold. I like the fit of the RMC ballpark sweat a bit more than the Strike Gold sweat I have mainly because of the body length but they're both great.

I am curious to hear a comparison between the Joe McCoy's Ballpark sweats vs. the Iron Heart Loopwheeled sweats.  I've never experienced the McCoy, but the IHs are fantastic and I can't imagine the McCoys being any better.  There are lots of people that say McCoy makes some of the best sweats around, so if anyone has experience with both, I would love to hear impressions.  Thanks, in advance.

BTW, both of those look great, davito.

Sean contact Foxy or see his review over at Sufu in the Sweatshirt thread i believe it was before xmas, very good review of him there between a IH and a realmccoy sweater (not the Ballpark though)

                          Thank u

Just to make sure: Ballpark sweatshirts are supreme, heavyweight sweatshirts, but they are not "loopwheeled" - also, Real McCoy/Joe McCoy never claimed that they are.
However, a recent addition to the Joe McCoy line is "loopwheeled" - they don't go by the Ballpark label and they are not heavyweight…

I'm really thinking about getting the RMC loopwheeled sweat in the milk color, although I'm sure my jeans will bleed on to it quite a bit.

                                          Absolutely they get better

Nice broark go for it, the sweats get better over time.

This is my Ballpark crewneck sweatshirt with indigo stains from the ultimate indigo crocking MF indigo drover. I have it all over the place and i love it. Depending on your jeans i am pretty sure they will not bleed like that.

Dont worry too much the indigo will wash out imho
                                          😎
