Thanks to Jeff for the watch. So weird wearing a digital watch but I'm really digging it.

Random love for the bald triumvirate, Chris for posting less and Seul for being a complete fucking tool….who sends me alcohol which lessens my desire to vent at strangers on the internet.

Landy had to go in for MOT and service last week. I dropped it off at 08:30, at 12:00, I started to get more and more het up voicemail's being left on my phone. I was in no particular rush to listen to the "Sir, I'm terribly sorry but the car has failed the MOT on every single criteria possible, it will be approx £10K to fix, would you like us to go ahead?" call, so I ignored them. Eventually they got through to me. They had dropped something through the canvas roof and would have to make a new one "At our expense of course sir, and the car sailed through the MOT, so no more to pay". Nice new canvas….

It's a Christmas miracle! And for such a cynical old git, too.

my wife and i have been trying to teach the baby some basic sign language. you know, since babies can't talk. just basic stuff like the sign for milk or more. it's been a few months and today she literally looked at me and signed milk. i asked her "do you want milk?" and then she started bouncing and signing for milk again. so i gave her a bottle. that is absolutely mind-blowing to me.

Baby sign language is amazing. Julie and I loved seeing Benjamin pick it up.

I am constantly amazed by the language skills of the none english speakers in this community, if I were to converse with any of the German dudes in their native tongue we would end up loudly discussing the price of a bus ticket to town hall (about the extent of my German). Well done gents.

Fucking German man… Three years I had to suffer this bastard of a language at school... Took me back to my glorious first (and last) year of Latin...
Yeah sorry... Rant, kind of... I'm eating spicy tuna salade... It angers me blood...

Tuna? Thought you were a weirdo veggie?

I couldn't agree more. Some great people on here making it easy for the English speakers.
Also, when we were in FR earlier this year, I felt like my conversations went like this:
Borat Voice in French GOOD DAY MISTER. TWO CROISSANTS PLEASE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR CROISSANTS. I WOULD ALSO LIKE ONE BAGUETTE AND ONE CITRUS TART PLEASE. HOW MUCH FOR THIS? THANK YOU VERY MUCH. GOODBYE!

It reminds me of an old joke:
What do you call a person who speaks three languages?
-Trilingual.
What do you call a person who speaks two languages?
-Bilingual.
What do you call a person who speaks one language?
-American.I'm constantly impressed by the ability of our non-native English speakers, too.
Except for Seul. I'm just constantly repulsed by him.

Sure it's repulsion, not sexual tension?
